A floor such as Corvettes happens once or twice a career. No design team, no contractor. Just a client and his flooring guy.

We walked and we talked, we talked and walked some more and what you see is what we did. A central spine linking front to back and side to side. 3 mt chevron staves at a width of 302 mm laid at 32.5 degrees. 4 chevron bays occupy the eye as you enter the home. The spines are detailed with the same 32.5 degree angle of the chevron. The 302 mm plank border is mitred to perfection. 600 mm width border plank curved to replicate the stringer sweep and curved borders under the stairs with flush fitting inset lights. 10 mm inset brass lines the border to the wine room.

The project also consisted of a custom colour Herringbone floor to a formal living area with inset rugs to a brass line detail, And what will be a gentleman's room/office with mansion weave parquet and huge single plate window board seats.
